ReserveX— Microservices Platform

Built a backend-only distributed ticket booking platform using a database-per-service architecture with an API Gateway, Auth, Inventory, Order, Payment, and Notification microservices.

Engineered a concurrency-safe reservation system using Redis distributed locks, PostgreSQL row-level locking (SELECT FOR UPDATE), optimistic version checks, and reservation TTL cleanup—handling 1,000 concurrent requests on a single ticket with zero duplicate bookings.

Implemented a Stripe payment pipeline with signature-verified, idempotent webhooks, the Transactional Outbox Pattern, BullMQ background workers, automatic retries with exponential backoff, and Redis-based rate limiting to ensure reliable event-driven order processing.
